Black Heart partnered with New York Live Arts to pioneer volumetric video technology in dance performance. Collaborating with The Round in London, we’ve made this technology accessible on smartphones, opening up new avenues for experiencing dance and performance art.

Embrace Creativity
with Bill T. Jones
Our collaboration with New York Live Arts (NYLA) is all about empowering renowned choreographer Bill T. Jones. Since the 1970s, he’s pioneered the fusion of emerging technologies, mixed media, motion tracking, and AI to amplify human expression. With the Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company in NYC, he explores identity, race, and sexuality themes, taking his sociological imagination worldwide.

Hours
of Innovation
In 48 hours we were able to present a live excerpt from Curriculum II and view our 3D experiment on mobile. Black Heart will continue to develop its relationship with The Round and their platform on future XR projects with NYLA and other artists taking the lead in this groundbreaking technology.
